Well I am slowly importing my wine data from paper to Electronic format.
OK so this is a test. It may make my life easy, or it may just fall flat. I have just downloaded Flock, which has in built Blogging technology. (Unfortunately it does not seem to support subjects for my blog post which is something that I will have to look into.
As far as wine is concerned I have been trying a lot recently. I can recommended Amon-Ra 2004 and a Minervois from Tardieu-Laurent. If this works well then I might start to post more often (one can always hope

Yes, I am well overdue to write up another wine. I wish I could oblige, however I cannot. Much has happened recently. The entire world (well 14 of them) decended upon our house for a long weekend. 2 weeks later I think we have just started to recover.
We have found a couple of wines we love, and I will try to review them. I sat down with one the other everning but could not describe why I liked it so much.
OK so lots of wines get mentioned in today’s blog. Last Thursday night we hosted a wine tasting for a bunch of friends. Some of the wines were new and others old favorites. I am going to give a quick overview of each wine rather than a full review. My thanks to everyone who turned up and made it such a fun everning. I’m afraid that as I was host I was unable (read too lazy) to take any notes. So this is all from memory.
I was hoping that my second foray into Prosecco would be as good as my first. I am not a massive champagne fan and thus paying (what I see) as over inflated prices for the stuff is something to avoid. If I can find an alterative that is not as expensive it would be nice (for those few occasions when I do drink the stuff). However what I have learned is that cheap Prosecco tastes exactly that. If you want to have a good Prosecco do not pay nothing. The wine I am reviewing cost less than ?É‚Äö?Ǭ£5 a bottle and that should have been the warning signal.
